MEET KEITH
Keith’s professional career began as a co-op student at the Illinois Institute of Technology with a private environmental laboratory.
At 23, Keith co-founded Environmental Monitoring & Technologies, Inc., an environmental testing service that quickly grew to over 100 staff members and dominated the market. He led growth through innovation, leading to being awarded two patents. Attention then turned to developing materials testing techniques on consumer electronics.
During this time, Keith was elected to three terms on his local school board, helped draft proposed legislation regarding regulations affecting consumer electronics, and ran for the State Senate seat for his district.
In 2005, he acquired Integrated Lakes Management, an 8-person environmental management firm specializing in aquatic resources. The company now has 50 employees with offices in Wisconsin and Illinois and provides highly specialized services in 16 different states largely as a result of the development of unique amphibious equipment.
Keith and his wife Joanne reside in Bristol where they breed and keep horses for racing, polo, and fox hunting. Much of their land is used for their horse operation.
As County Supervisor of the 19th District, Keith’s small business experience coupled with having been in public office, and being in touch with the great number of District residents who farm, he is able to understand and weigh the issues affecting his constituency and work to effectively represent their interests on the Kenosha County Board.
